VOSON Lab at the Network Science Institute, Northeastern University

A/Professor Robert Ackland gave a presentation and ran a SocialMediaLab workshop at the Network Science Institute, Northeastern University, USA, in April 26-27 this year.

While the presentation “Frames and Fields in Twitter” outlined preliminary findings from a joint research project with Professor Mathieu O'Neil (University of Canberra) focusing on activism on Twitter, the workshop “collecting Social Media data with SocialMediaLab” provided more practical skills for collection, network generation and analysis, using the tool developed at the VOSON Lab.
