Presentation at HC Coombs Policy Forum on Social Media, Privacy and Security

Robert Ackland gave a presentation at the HC Coombs Policy Forum on Social Media, Privacy and Security titled Web 2.0: Context, Uptake and Implications.The HC Coombs Policy Forum at the ANU, in conjunction with Charles Sturt University, held a high-level, invitation-only scoping workshop on Social Media, Privacy and Security, where the specific objectives were:

• To identify the privacy and security risks associated with social media and how best to manage these risks.
• To develop an agenda for evidence-based research that will assist government agencies to navigate the opportunities and challenges of social media.
