3B preliminary research presented at international conferences

Bots Building Bridges (3B) project's preliminary research was presented by Rob Ackland at Sunbelt 2023 -- The International Network for Social Network Analysis Conference (online) and in the International Sociological Association World Congress in Melbourne - both presentations on 29 June.  Mathieu O'Neil is presenting the study at the IAMCR (International Association for Media and Communication Research) in Lyon, France in July.

Creating Heuristics to Identify Echo Chambers in Political Discussions on Twitter is one stream of the international research collaboration funded by the Volkswagen Foundation’s Artificial Intelligence and the Society of the Future. The study is aimed to develop automated tools to map information environment ‘health’, through transparent and objective indicators addressing, for example, diversity of perspectives; openness to opposing views; and  the extent to which debates are informed by reliable sources.
